On October 30, 1998, my sister Maria gave birth to twins at Northwest
Hospital, just down the hall and around the corner from where Cheryl
spent her last days before moving to the hospice 25 months earlier.
Maria and her husband James named the boy Dylan and the girl LeRoux.
When LeRoux was five, she starting asking questions about what the
aunt she'd been named after but never known was like. I made this
book for her for Christmas 2003.
